Graduation 2017

  • All senior debts (i.e. lunchroom fees, cap and gown purchase, Herff Jones, damaged/missing books, etc.) must be paid no later than Monday, May 8, 2017 for participation in graduation ceremonies. 
  • Permission slips for graduation practice must be returned by Friday May 12, 2017 to Mrs. Prince


  Sunday May 21, 2017
Time: 3:00 pm
Place:  Harlan Baptist Church

Each graduate will receive only five (5) tickets for family/guests to sit in the lower level of the church.
Handicapped guests in wheel chairs for the lower level will need a ticket. 
All other attendees will be seated in the balcony (no ticket required). 

Ushers need to be at the church no later than 12:30 PM
BOYS CHOIR/MUSETTES need to meet in the church basement NO LATER than 1:30 PM
Graduates need to meet in the church basement NO LATER than 2:00 PM
Faculty/Staff need to be at the church NO LATER than 2:15 PM

Girls need to wear a very light colored dress (preferably white) and white shoes. 
Boys need to wear a dress shirt (preferably white or light blue) with a collar, a coordinating tie,
black or khaki pants and dress shoes. 
No flip flops or shorts allowed. 

Please do not bring any personal items (i.e. cameras, purses, phones, etc.) to the church basement. 

Wrinkles may be removed by placing the gown in the dryer with a damp cloth on low for about 15 minutes. 

CAUTION:  If you plan to iron the gown, do so on the lowest setting to prevent scorching.
