I am honored to represent the students, parents and faculty of Harlan Elementary School.  We will continue in our endeavors to reach higher academic goals, continually striving to be one of the best elementary schools in the state of Kentucky.  I realize that your child’s educational future rests on the foundation laid within the walls of Harlan Elementary School.  We guarantee rigorous instruction filled with opportunities for your child to learn at a high level and excel in the classroom, along with a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn and grow.  We will help your child develop strength of character and values, guiding them to become productive members of our school community.  I want to encourage all parents, grandparents, and guardians to get involved in the Harlan Elementary School Volunteer Program and become vested members of our school community.  Together there is no goal that cannot be reached.  Your child’s potential is limitless!  I appreciate your support and dedication to our school and as always….I am proud to be a Dragon!
