Exploring Black History Month: A Digital Literacy Research Project
In our Digital Literacy classes, students had the opportunity to understand the significance of Black History Month. The research projects allowed students to explore the rich history, achievements, and contributions of Black individuals throughout history. Through digital resources and tools, they uncovered stories of resilience, innovation, and activism that have shaped our world. Students engaged with diverse perspectives and celebrated the cultural heritage of the Black community during this important month of reflection and learning.

🐉🐉🐉 Great things happening at HMS: Students in Mrs. Howard’s class were observing the characteristics of cookies and comparing them to rocks in order to categorize them as igneous, metamorphic, or sedimentary. They looked for grains, mineral composition, crystal size, layers, and texture.
