🏀 In action earlier this week, the HMS Lady Dragon 5th and 6th grade basketball team took down Mountain View 39-17! The Lady Dragons 🐉 were led in scoring by Khloe Daniels with 12 points. Students in Mrs. Wheeler's 6th grade reading & writing work on team building skills with story building! Students worked together to create stories and then chose a speaker while others in the group stood by in support.
Students in Ms. Kat's class affirmed each other with positive name recognition activities.

🐉 Great stuff happening at HMS on Day 1!!! Students in Mrs. Howard's class did STEM challenges in class today to work on problem solving skills and group expectations. One group created the longest paper chain while the other built towers to hold books while using only paper and tape!
