Rogers Explorer, a youth leadership program associated with the Center for Rural Development, provides incoming freshmen with the opportunity to cultivate skills in leadership, technology, math, science, and community service. Students selected for the Rogers Explorer program will live on a participating college's campus for three days during the summer between their 8th grade and freshmen years. The application is now open for 8th graders with a minimum 3.0 GPA. Students wishing to apply need to complete the application by February 28th. Any questions can be directed to Harlan Middle School counselor Chris Day.

The event, open to the public, is a formal dress buy and sell event. Bring your previously worn dresses to sell or you may also browse through a collection of FREE dresses for your next formal event. Come check out the formal dresses for your next homecoming, pageant, prom, snowball, father/daughter dance, etc.
