Harlan Elementary students participated in a "February Family Time" challenge, sponsored by FRYSC, to encourage students to spend more time reading and have more electronics-free family dinners. 55 students received a Dr. Seuss book for completing the challenge, and the winner of the grand prize drawing was first-grader Tori Wattenberger. Prizes were awarded on the last day of Read Across America Week.

π Harlan Elementary had a successful first night of little league basketball! Tonightβs games begin at 5:30 in the high school gym. ππ
