Our Leadership and General Intellect Gifted & Talented students recently had the opportunity to visit The Harlan Museum, where learning came to life beyond the classroom walls.
During their visit, students explored the rich history of Harlan County, gaining a deeper understanding of how our region originated and evolved over time. From early settlement stories to the cultural and economic influences that shaped the area, the experience provided meaningful, real-world connections to their learning.
Experiences like this help students grow in knowledge while also encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and a greater appreciation for the community they call home. 🐉

Just a reminder that the Lady Dragon Volleyball Skills Clinic is still happening! We are excited to welcome all girls in grades 3–8.
Participants will get to work in small groups on serving skills, receive instruction from Lady Dragon players and coaches, and build their confidence on the court.
There will also be games, prizes, and lots of volleyball fun! 🎉🏐
Whether your child is just starting out or already loves the game, this clinic is a great opportunity to learn new skills and spend time with the Lady Dragons.
