🐉 Great things are going on at HMS! Students in Mrs. Wheeler's class came back today from the break strong by making a commitment to the social contracts they had made in class at the beginning of the year. These social contracts are student created and are a way for students to take ownership in their classes. It is a commitment to hard work, respectful behavior, and acting in a way that creates a great classroom environment!
🥎 HMS Softball will be having Open Gym today in the Elementary Gym from 5:00-6:30. Please make sure to wear tennis shoes instead of cleats if you plan on attending!

It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year!
The Harlan Independent School District will host the Annual Christmas Music Program on Friday, December 20th, 2024 at 9:30 AM in the Harlan High School gymnasium.
Musical selections will be performed by Harlan Elementary, Harlan Middle, and Harlan High School Choirs. In addition, listeners will also hear a medley of Christmas-themed selections by Beginner, Intermediate, High School, and the newly installed Jazz Band. Finally, a special treat will be performed by Dr. Weiner's High School Spanish class.
Oh, and don't be surprised if Santa Claus makes an appearance!!
Students, staff, and visitors are in for a true holiday treat as Directors Jeremy Bell and Betsy Burkhart highlight the spectacular musical talents of our Green Dragon students.
