The SEBT program aims to provide additional nutritional support to eligible students (age 6-17) who have received SNAP, KTAP, and /or Kinship Care for at least one month since July 1st , 2023, and students who are deemed income eligible through an approved SEBT application. Students who do not fall into the above category, and are within the income eligibility limits, can apply for SEBT Online at https://KYSEBT.ky.gov/ or can be addressed through http://kynect.ky.gov/benefits/
Or by calling 855-306-8959. If eligible, you can expect to receive a one-time lump sum issuance of $120 per eligible child, if approved, for the summer period. Replacement card requests can be made by calling 888-979-9949.

🏀 The dinner fundraiser for the Green Dragon and Lady Dragon basketball teams has been rescheduled for June 15th! If interested, please get in touch with an HHS basketball player, Coach Varner, or Coach Akal. Tickets will also be sold at the door! 🐉

All girls grades 7th-12th can come out this week to work on some skills as Coach Sierra Crow will host open gym on June 3rd, 4th, and 6th! It is Family Fun Day at Huff Park today!!! Stop by the Harlan Independent Schools tent to register for the 2024-2025 school year. Sunshine Preschool will be on-site to register new K3-K4 students, as well as representatives for Harlan Elementary, Middle, and High School.
Please remember, that June 30th is the priority registration deadline to make sure you have a spot for the upcoming school year.

🐉🐉🐉 We would like to congratulate Harlan Middle School standout, Izack Saylor on finishing 2nd overall in the Boys High Jump today at the State Championship!
"Izack had a great jump of 5’8 which places him 2nd in the high jump. He told me he hates losing and he is ready to get back after it next week," stated Coach Dakota Owens.
Izack will be participating in the High School State Meet next week.
