Students at HMS enjoyed a treat earlier in the week! Miss Tagan Cox and Natalie Tomlinson from Pine Mountain Settlement School visited to inform students about the Junior Appalachian Musicians program. This is a 10-week program hosted at PMSS where students will have the opportunity to learn how to play the guitar, banjo, or fiddle. If students are interested, they need to contact Miss Cox!!
HMS 6th graders attended the Operation UNITE "Empowering the Next Generation" Youth Rally on Tuesday at HCHS. Students learned about the importance of making healthy choices and living a drug-free life. Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible for the students in our county!!
