🐉 Awesome opportunities for HMS Students! 5th and 6th grade students were able to participate in a Career Day over the past two days in the gym. Presenters included high school students from business class, Jeremy Lee, Sky Marietta, and Amy Miller! This is part of a larger initiative to help students learn about different careers as they think and plan towards their futures! We are thankful to provide vibrant learning opportunities for our students and are grateful for all of our presenters that came and dedicated time to our students!

🐉 Great things are happening at HMS:
-Students in Mr. Varner's class created name plates for themselves made from the Phoenician alphabet as an activity to bring history alive as they learn about the Ancient Phoenician culture!
-Ms. Waller had a student lead Good Things to begin class as students shared great things that were going on in their lives!
-Students in Mrs. Howard's class drew scale models of the solar system to show distances between planets and used gizmos to collect data on chemical reactions to create hot and cold packs!
Our teachers work hard to provide vibrant learning experiences for students and we appreciate all of their hard work!
