🥎 Lady Dragons DOMINATE!! 🐉 In 7 innings of fastpitch action, the Lady Dragons defeated the Knox Central Lady Panthers 12 to 7!! This was an absolute action packed game! Addison Jackson went 4 - 5 at the plate, while Ella Lisenbee, Ella Farley, Gracie Hensley, Ava Nunez, Jordyn Smith, and Ryleigh Estes all collected multiple hits for the Lady Dragons. And last, but certainly not least, Abbi Fields with another DINGER in the 5th inning!! Congratulations girls, we are so proud of you!! #GOBIGGREEN

📣 Just a reminder for HMS parents! Tomorrow (April 9th), there is a mandatory parent meeting for all those wanting to participate in middle school cheer next season! Congratulations to the HHS Lady Dragons Softball team as they defeated the Knott County Central Patriots 15 to 6!! The Lady Dragons rallied in the 4th inning, scoring a total of 11 runs! Harlan was led offensively by Ella Lisenbee who went 4-4 during this game. Way to go, ladies!! #gobiggreen

Rise and shine, Dragon fans!! 🐉 The HHS Lady Dragons Softball team has a jam packed day full of fastpitch action!! The Lady Dragons will compete in the Somerset Turf Classic, facing their first opponent, the Knott County Central Patriots at 9:30am. Later in the day, they play the LaRue County Hawks, with the first pitch set for 2pm. All games will be played at Somerset High School. Best of luck to our Lady Dragons!! 🥎

HMS Softball @ Leslie has been canceled for today!!

🐉 Three of our very own!! Harlan Middle School 8th graders Halle Cox, Juliana Damaa, and Jaxson Perry have all been chosen to participate in Rogers Explorers this year! The Rogers Explorers program, which will take place this summer, is an intensive three-day, two-night program focused on cultivating skills in leadership, technology, math, science, and community service. Congratulations everyone, we are so excited for your futures - and this is just the beginning!! #familyofdragons

As part of a planned fiber optic upgrade across the district, the Harlan Independent Schools will have no phone service starting on Tuesday, April 2 at 2:00 PM through Wednesday, April 3rd at 2:00 PM. #SpringBreakWork
