The Louisville Orchestra presented a brass quintet performance for Harlan Independent students on November 3. Students much appreciated and enjoyed this unique opportunity to experience professional music as the sounds of a tuba, trombone, French horn, and trumpets filled the auditorium. In between songs, the musicians answered questions from the audience about careers in the arts, instruments, and music. Afterward, students could meet the musicians and see the instruments up close.
