The Green Dragons took care of business in 52nd District action defeating the Middlesboro Yellowjackets in double header action.
The Lady Dragons cruised to a 68-31 win, while the Boys team left little doubt in an easy 88-41 win to close out the evening.

Derrick Akal Sworn In As School Resource Officer
Harlan Ind. took action on Thursday to equip the campus with a full-time School Resource Officer. Derrick Akal brings more than two decades of law enforcement service and 10 years of military experience to the district.

Harlan 21st Century teen club will be closed Thursday December 15th for a special trip for the club members. Only those members that returned a permission slip will be attending the program but there will not be transportation after the conclusion. Please make proper arrangements.

Ethan Farley made the KY Music Educators Association TTBB All-State Chorus.
6th grade Middle School Choir girls will be participating in the KY Music Educators Associations KY Children's Chorus. They are Ella Cook, Daria Lee, and Arianna Raleigh.
Also, Michael Lindsey and Landon Traylor will be performing with the SATB KY Junior High Chorus.
