Attendance across the district was Fantastic, and to show our appreciation, ALL HARLAN STUDENTS will be granted free admission in tonight's Harlan vs Middlesboro game at Middlesboro High. There will be a dedicated entrance for Harlan students as you enter Middlesboro High School. Simply have on your Green and White and come ready to cheer on your Lady Dragons. All students must enter through the designated entrance for free admission. Harlan High School had an incredible 94.9% attendance today, followed by Halran Elementary with 94.12 and Harlan Middle School with 90%. We need 100% at the game! #morethanaschool #familyofdragons

Congratulations to the Harlan High School Lady Dragons on defeating Jackson County tonight in the All A 13th Region basketball tournament. The Lady Dragons will play in the 13th Region All A Championship tomorrow night at Middlesboro at 7:OO PM. Your Lady Dragons will take on the Middlesboro Yellowjackets. We want to encourage everyone to wear your GREEN and WHITE and come out to support our Lady Dragons and cheerleaders. To encourage attendance and participation, the school with the highest attendance tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th will win free tickets for EVERY student in the school that ATTENDS the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Before Christmas break, Second grade students at Harlan Elementary got creative with a special at home project! They built amazing dioramas illustrating the various factors of a specific habitat, including living and non-living things. We’re so proud of their hard work, imagination, and dedication!
