🏐 Good luck to our Lady Dragons at the Bobcat Classic. The Lady Dragons have a day packed full of volleyball. The first game starts at 10 am, and the second starts at 11:10 am. After that, the Lady Dragons will participate in a tournament based on their performance in the morning's games. Go Big Green 🐉🏐🐉

🐉 Let's hear it for your HHS Marching Band!! 🎵 Yesterday, the Marching Dragons traveled to South Laurel HS to compete in the Cardinal Classic. Through much wind and rain, the Dragons placed 2nd in Class A in the preliminary rounds and 8th Overall in the finals!! It was a long day, and we are so proud of our Dragons who persevered to the end!!

🎵 Band Competition! 🐉 Today the HHS Marching Band will travel to South Laurel HS to compete in the Cardinal Classic!! Performance time is slated for 12:30 PM. Good luck, Dragons!! #WeAreHarlan #FamilyofDragons

Orders and Money for shirts will now be turned in on Monday, Sept. 30th in order to have them ordered and printed in time for our walk. 💓T-shirts are $15 Youth Small- Adult X-Large XXL add $2.00 XXXL add $3.00 XXXXL add $4.00 Checks can be made to Harlan Elementary with memo as Cancer Walk. The Harlan Independent School District will be closed on Friday, September 27th, 2024. We will implement Dragon Day/ NTI Day 1. Students may access assignments through their Google Classroom or paper packets. Students have three school days to complete all assignments. As always, teachers and staff are available to assist/support to completion of all work. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to your teacher or school. Grandparents' breakfast will be rescheduled for Friday, October 4th.

🐉 Due to the severe weather forecast, the Harlan high School football game vs. Pineville and Homecoming ceremony scheduled for Friday night have been move to Saturday. Homecoming will begin at 6:00 PM, and the game will kickoff at 7:30. Should severe weather continue to be an issue Saturday, the homecoming ceremony will be postponed to October 11th before the game vs. Knott County.
