"Izack had a great jump of 5’8 which places him 2nd in the high jump. He told me he hates losing and he is ready to get back after it next week," stated Coach Dakota Owens. State Champion!!! Harlan Middle School standout Tanner Daniels has won the state championship in the 800m race! Tanner put up a fantastic time, finishing the 800 in 2:01, six seconds ahead of the next closest competitor. Coach Dakota Owens discussed this excellent feat for Tanner, stating: “Tanner came in the race nervous, but he kept his competitive mindset and finished 2nd in the 1 mile and came out as a state champ in the 800m! His kick at the end of the 800m gave him a 6-second lead.” Tanner also finished 2nd in the 1600m race! ⚾️ 2024 DISTRICT CHAMPIONS🏆 Last night, the Green Dragons defeated the Bell County Bobcats to become the 52nd District Tournament Champions. With a solid team effort, the Dragons defeated the Bobcats 7 to 5. Jared Moore, Luke Luttrell, and Eli Freyer were named to the All-Tournament team, and Baylor Varner was honored as the Tournament MVP.
