The Kindergarten students from Harlan Elementary School enjoyed their annual walking field trip through downtown Harlan. During the trip, they visited the Harlan Public Library, Monticello Bank, Harlan Courthouse, Harlan Post Office, and explored a fire truck at Huff Park. The students loved learning about community helpers and leaders in the community. They were also pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and goodies offered by several businesses downtown. This trip is always a memorable experience for the students.
