I would like to first thank you for giving me the opportunity to have your child in my class.  Parents play a vital role in the education process of our students.  Please feel free to contact me or set up a meeting with me to discuss any problems or success that your students may have in school or in the community.  I want ALL of my students to succeed in the classroom as well as in their future hear at Harlan Independent School and beyond.  I will do all that I can to help them in their journey.  
As an educator I feel that ALL students can learn.  I have high expectations of my students and I will support them in all that they do.  I feel that you need to show support of your students in as many ways as you can, not just in the classroom setting.   I came across a quote early in my teaching career and I believe this:  "The only people that we cannot reach are those whom we refuse to touch"-Anonymous Author.
