🇺🇸 In Ms. Maggard’s civics class, students experienced another vibrant learning opportunity by creating black out poetry from the 27 grievances in the Declaration of Independence. This engaging activity allowed students to dive deeply into the historical context while channeling their inner creativity! By carefully selecting words and phrases to craft original poems, students connected personally with the colonists’ complaints against British rule, making history come alive in a fresh and meaningful way!

🐉 We will have a representative here on Tuesday, September 23rd, to take letterman jacket orders for 10th-12th graders. Students will be sized, make jacket choices, and will be given a quote. The jacket will have to be paid for in full by 10/10/25, which is the date we will submit our orders. This will save you on tax and shipping. The jackets cost between $200 and $400, depending on style and patches. You can always order on your own at any time through BSN. Jackets will arrive 8-10 weeks after we place the order on 10/10/25, so they should arrive before Christmas.
