A familiar face with deep roots in the Harlan music program, Emily brings both passion and purpose to this role as she returns home to invest in our students and our tradition of excellence.
Emily is proud graduate of both Harlan High School and Eastern Kentucky University. A lifelong member of the Harlan music program, she is excited to return home and lead the next generation of Green Dragon musicians. Emily is passionate about creating a band program built on pride, growth, leadership, and family while helping students develop both musically and personally. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and playing her clarinet.

Another huge shoutout goes to Baylor Varner for an absolutely dominant performance on the mound, throwing a 1-hit shutout while racking up an incredible 18 strikeouts!
