π Congratulations to the following Green Dragons for being elected as the September Class Leaders for their grade level. They will guide their classmates in the Clash of Classes challenges for September. In the spirit of fun, Harlan High School will be doing monthly competitions between the grade levels. Students will be competing in attendance, artwork, school spirit challenges, and much more! The grade level that earns the most points for the month will be rewarded with a prize. For September, the winning grade level will have a Picnic in the Park during lunch and advisory early in October. Let's wish these Green Dragons good luck in leading their class to victory!

Learning comes alive at Harlan High! In Civics class, students rotated through various stations, taking notes on their interactive foldables while exploring how different governments function. Meanwhile, Life Skills students learned essential tasks like washing dishes and doing laundry. Everyone is all smiles as we wrap up another week. Itβs always a great day to be a Dragon! π

π Harlan Middle/High School would like to congratulate the Junior class for being the Attendance winners for the first two full weeks of school! The 6th-grade class is giving them competition in the runner-up position.

High School Race:
Tanner Daniels led the boys' varsity with a first-place finish. Excited to see what this boys varsity team will do this season.
Middle School Race:
ZoΓ« Lawson, 5thΒ place, and Aiden Burnette, 9thΒ place led our middle school runners
Elementary Races:
MJ Taylor took 1stΒ place for the 1st through 3rd-grade girls! Close by were Shelby Parsons, 4thΒ place, and Lucy Miller, 9thΒ place.
Emmett Alred led the 1st-3rd-grade boys today with a 9th-place finish.
Julianne Miller crushed the 4th-6th-grade girls' race with a 3rd-place finish.
Braxton Sizemore powered through the rainstorm and gained a 5th-place finish for the 4th-6th-grade boys!
