🎵🎵🎵We would like to congratulate some amazing Dragons. Shaedyn Crow, Avery Carroll, Logan Thompson, and Cooper Thomas were chosen for the EKU Honor Band in Richmond. This event is a very special occasion in which 250 students were chosen from 29 schools to perform. The band performed four songs with only five hours of rehearsal in one day! We are so proud of these Dragons! 🐉🐉🐉

🏆🏆🏆 We would like to recognize one of our amazing Dragons. Over the past weekend, students from all across the state of Kentucky descended upon Louisville to take part in the Governor's Cup State Competition. This event is the culmination of a season-long journey for academic teams across the state that have made it through the district and regional levels. One of our own, 7th grader Juliana Damaa not only participated in the event but finished 10th overall in the entire state in Arts & Humanities! We are so proud of Juliana and the hard work that she has put in as a student and a member of the Academic Team. As always, academic achievement is crucial for all students in the Harlan Independent School District, and we are so proud to see the hard work of our students paying off! Great job, Juliana!! 🐉🐉🐉
