Harlan Technology Student Association competes at the Pigman Regional Competition for its second year.
Despite being the second year Harlan Independent has participated in the Technology Student Association Regional Competitions, it was a first experience for all the students that participated. Those who took part this year were:

All new to the TSA scene but were competitive at their events, which included On Demand Video Production, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Flight, and Technology Problem Solving. Each team fell short of placing top 3 but gained valuable experience that will help the majority of them who will also be attending State Competition in April.

Dragons bang out 12 hits leading to 14 RBIs on offense, and Dragon pitchers struck out 11 batters leaving 10 Eagle base runners stranded. Great job, Green! 🐉 #gobiggreen

The Kindergarten Little League game will begin at 6:00 tonight due to Family Literacy Night. 2nd grade will play at 7:00 and 3/4th will play at 8:00.

60 HES students won prizes for participating in the February Family Time Challenge sponsored by FRYSC! Great work to all the families who read together and ate dinner together (without screens) throughout the month of February! A few of the winners are pictured below with their new books.
✨ The stars aligned for 1st - 6th-grade students as they experienced the SkyDome Planetarium yesterday. Students entered the 36' diameter dome and viewed the night sky from a unique perspective as they learned about constellations, planets, galaxies, and our solar system. Our favorite constellation is Draco, the dragon! The program was sponsored by FRYSC.
🎉 Congratulations to our 4th Grade Students of the Month for February!! Students received a certificate, pencil, and bracelet, and they will get to have lunch with Mrs. Posey! 💚
