🎉Dragon Attendance Incentive Winner!🐉

This year, Harlan Independent Schools rolled out a brand-new attendance incentive to celebrate students who show up and give their best every single day!

Each week that a student has perfect attendance — meaning no check-ins late and no early checkouts — they earn a ticket for a chance to win a district prize at the end of the nine weeks. That means a student can earn up to nine chances per quarter! As part of the incentive, students must be present the day of the drawing to claim their prize.

👏Congratulations to this nine-weeks winner, Dallis Craycraft! Your dedication and commitment to being present each day truly make you a role model for your fellow Dragons.

🎄✨ Sunshine School was filled with holiday joy during our Christmas workshops! Students enjoyed festive activities while parents joined us for games, crafts, and holiday snacks. Each child created special keepsakes to take home and share with their families—memories that will last far beyond the season. 💚🐉

🎄✨ Christmas Plaids or Velvets Day! ✨🎄 We brought all the cozy holiday vibes! Students and staff wore their favorite plaid patterns or velvety outfits to celebrate the season in style. ❤️💚

All aboard the Polar Express! 🚂❄️ Our students cozied up for Polar Express Pajama Day and had a magical time! They enjoyed warm hotn chocolate ☕, received their tickets to board the Polar Express 🎟️, and were thrilled when special guests came to visit classrooms! 🎄✨ From comfy PJs to big smiles, it was a fun and festive day filled with holiday cheer. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special! 🎅

🎶 Band Concert 🎶 Join us tomorrow, December 18th, at 6:30 PM for a band concert featuring our Beginning Band, Intermediate Band, Jazz Band, and High School Band. Come out and enjoy an evening of great music! 🎶 Special thanks to Ray Smith for the assist with the graphic.
