Harlan Elementary 21st Century will be hosting a night for parents to learn more about google classroom. It will be held October 19, at 6:00p.m. in the elementary library. HMS Boys Basketball tryouts for 7/8 grade will be Monday, October 18 from 5:00-6:30 in the elementary gym. Tryouts for 5/6 grade will be Thursday, October 21 from 5:00-6:30 in the elementary gym.

Harlan Elementary 4th grade students worked on subtracting multi-digit numbers using concrete and semi-concrete strategies to re-group in Mrs. Crow’s class.



The Harlan Elementary School Cross Country team blasted out of the gate in their inaugural season with more than 40 runners participating during the 2021 campaign. The Dragons made quick work of establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the region.
Fielding as many as 40 runners at the start line, the Dragons enjoyed a strong supporting cast at each meet with all runners showing dramatic improvements in their times. The Dragons will follow up their successful season with an eye on capturing the 13th Region Championship in 2022 as nearly all runners will return to compete at the Elementary level next season.

Harlan Elementary Cross Country team completed their season at Lynn Camp, October 3. The girls team finished 13th Region Runners Up in their first season! They are coached by Erin Alred and Ann Lindsey.
