The 12 Days of Christmas are in full swing! This week, HES students showed their Christmas spirit, wore their holiday hair, and dressed as their favorite Christmas characters. Elfalfa has returned, and Mrs. Posey turned into an elf! We are looking forward to continuing dressing up for the 12 Days of Christmas next week! 🎄🎅❄️☃️

🐉 🏆 Green Dragon High Achievers! 🐉 🏆 XtraMath is an online math fact fluency program that helps students develop quick recall and automaticity of their basic math facts. All students start with the addition math facts and then proceed to the next operation by reaching a mastery score of 100 by answering each question correctly in six seconds or less. For students to "complete" XtraMath, they must answer all questions correctly for all four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. We would like to congratulate Noah Perkins, Ahmad Amro, Tavian Howard, Toby Hensley, and Mia Swanson for this great accomplishment in Mrs. Jackson's class! Way to go, Dragons ! 🐉

For the fourth year in a row and the sixth time in the last seven years, our students have risen to the occasion and absolutely dominated the Section 29 6th Grade Showcase. This year’s results not only highlight our students’ hard work and talent but also reflect the dedication and support of our incredible teachers, staff, and families.
