📖 Exciting Author Visit at Harlan Elementary! 🐉 Recently, our 3rd and 4th graders had an unforgettable experience—they participated in a live video call with Lauren Tarshis, the amazing author of the I Survived series! 📚✨ During the call, Mrs. Tarshis shared her journey of becoming a writer, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at how she creates her thrilling stories. 🖊️ She also took time to answer questions from our curious students, sparking their imaginations and encouraging a love of reading and writing. This special opportunity, funded by Harlan Elementary PRI, allowed our students to connect with a beloved author and learn what it takes to bring stories to life.📖🐉 #familyofdragons #morethanaschool

The 12 Days of Christmas are in full swing! This week, HES students showed their Christmas spirit, wore their holiday hair, and dressed as their favorite Christmas characters.
