After a nice breakfast treat from Mr. Cavins, students learned about bank fraud, the importance of a good credit score, interest rates, and home/auto loans. HES recently hosted an event in celebration of World Health Day, in collaboration with 21st Century, PRI, Mrs. Wilson, FRYSC, and the 4-H Extension Office. The event was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle for students and families. The attendees were treated to a variety of wellness lifestyle presentations, a yoga class, and a presentation on MyPlate. In addition, the students got the opportunity to create their MyPlate crafts. We are grateful for the partnerships that made this event possible and the opportunity to encourage healthy living among our students and their families. 🍽️🍎🍊🍌

Harlan High School Set To Announce New Head Football Coach
[Harlan, KY] - Harlan High School is excited to announce the selection of our new head football coach. The official announcement will take place at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 26th, 2024, in the Harlan High School Library.
The new head coach brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering both athletic excellence and personal growth among student-athletes. Their leadership is poised to elevate the Harlan High School football program to new heights.
Members of the media and the community are invited to attend the announcement event, which will be held at 420 E. Central St. Harlan, KY 40831, beginning at 1:30PM. There will be an opportunity to meet the new head coach and hear their vision for the future of Harlan High School football.
