The girls' teams will kick off the tournament tonight with two great match-ups at 6:00 pm and 7:30 pm. Followed by the first round of the boys' games tomorrow night. 🎟️. Amazing news at HHS! 🐉 The HHS Academic Team achieved remarkable success at the Regional Governor’s Cup Competition this past weekend, securing second place overall and earning a spot at the State Finals next month in Louisville, KY. The students showcased exceptional talent across multiple categories, solidifying HHS’s reputation for academic excellence! Individual and Team Achievements:     •    Math: 1st Place – Isaiah Sage     •    Social Studies: 4th Place – Audrey Goss     •    Language Arts: 5th Place – Audrey Goss; 3rd Place – Salena Amro     •    Composition: 5th Place – Carley Thomas; 3rd Place – Abbie Jones; 1st Place – Harlan Marietta     •    Future Problem Solving: 2nd Place – Harlan High School Team     •    Quick Recall: 4th Place – Harlan High School Team     •    Overall Award: 2nd Place – Harlan High School “This group of students has shown incredible dedication and passion for learning. Their hard work and perseverance have truly paid off, and I couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishments,” said Coach Tyler Saylor. “We’re excited to represent our region at the State Finals and continue this journey of academic excellence.” Mr. Bolton praised the team’s outstanding performance, stating, “Our students continue to demonstrate not only academic prowess but also character, teamwork, and resilience. They are an inspiration to their peers and a testament to the high standards of Harlan High School. We look forward to cheering them on at the State Finals in Louisville.” HHS is gearing up to compete at the State Finals in Louisville, KY, next month.
