🐉 Great things are happening at HMS!!!: -Students in Ms. Waller's advisory class are doing a courage walk where they identify different ways of displaying courage in our school. This goes along with our theme of Courage for Capturing Kids Hearts! -Students in Ms. Waller's class were reading and analyzing Supreme Court cases for their argumentative unit. They are working collaboratively to rank the arguments from each side based on persuasiveness! -Students in Mrs. Wheeler's are working collaboratively on inference task cards! We appreciate these awesome vibrant learning experiences that our students are receiving!

Congrats to the Lady Dragons on their 10-0 victory over Bell County! Harlan jumped to an early lead, with key contributions from Jordyn Smith, Ella Lisenbee, and Ella Farley. Smith pitched a stellar game, allowing no runs and striking out eight over six innings. Lisenbee drove in two RBIs, while Addison Campbell also had a strong performance with two hits. The Lady Dragons will be back at home on Thursday to take on Middlesboro. Great job, Lady Dragons! 🐉

🐉 Tournament Champs!! 🥎 Our HMS Lady Dragons showed up and showed out yesterday during the KY Middle School Kick-Off Classic!! Going 3-0 in tournament play, the Lady Dragons defeated Garrard Middle 3-2, Nicholas Co. 4-3, and West Jessamine Middle in the championship 7-0. Special shoutout to the tournament MVP, Adelynn Lewis!! We are proud of our Lady Dragons and their coaches!!
