🌟 Student Spotlight 🌟 Shoutout to Evan Jones, a 10th grade student in Ms. Maggard’s World History class, for stepping up in a big way today! While studying about the spread of Islam, Evan asked if he could lead the class lecture and help guide the discussion. It takes confidence, preparation, and leadership to stand in front of your peers and teach a lesson. Evan did a great job helping classmates think through the content and engage with the topic. We love seeing students take initiative and ownership of their learning. Great job today, Evan! 👏📚

🏐 🐉Lady Dragon Volleyball Skills Clinic 🐉🏐

Calling all future Lady Dragons! The Lady Dragon Volleyball Team is hosting a Skills Clinic for girls in grades 3–8, and we would love to see you there!

Come spend some time learning and improving your serving skills through small-group instruction and skill work with our Lady Dragon players and coaches. It’s a great chance to build confidence, get better at the game, and have a lot of fun!

We’ll also have games, prizes, and plenty of volleyball fun along the way!

Whether you’re new to volleyball or already love the game, this clinic is the perfect place to learn, play, and start your Lady Dragon volleyball journey.

🐉🎓HHS Seniors are well on their way to graduation after completing Adulting Day 2026!  Seniors rotated through workshops to learn more about personal safety, taxes, credit scores, car maintenance, mock interviews, tying neckties, and applying for jobs; concluding with a formal etiquette lunch and prizes.  Adulting Day is sponsored by FRYSC.

🎉 Congratulations to HES students who completed the February Family Time Challenge by reading at home and eating screen-free dinners with their families! Students received a free book of their choice from FRYSC. 🎉

🏀 Opening Day – Little League Basketball 🏀 Harlan Elementary School Opening Day is here! We’re excited to kick off the Harlan Elementary Little League Basketball season and watch our players take the court. Bring your family, cheer on the teams, and enjoy a fun day of basketball! 🎉 💵 Gate Admission: $2 per person 👶 Kids 4 and under are free 🍿 Concessions will be available 👕 Players: Don’t forget to wear the team shirt! ⏰ Please check the schedule to see when your child’s game will be played. FYI – Team Groupings: • Green, Black, or White A teams are Kindergarten and 1st grade. • Green, Black, or White B teams are 1st and 2nd grade. • Green, Black, or White C teams are 3rd and 4th grade. • First graders are randomly placed between A and B teams. 📸 Photo Information: Toward the end of the Little League season, we will be taking team and individual photos that families will have the option to purchase.
