The Harlan Independent Board of Education recently amended the 2024-2025 School Calendar and established the graduation date/time for the class of 2025.
The last day for students will be Thursday, May 15th, 2025.
Harlan High Graduation will be Saturday, May 17th, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Harlan Baptist Church.

The Harlan Lady Dragons secured a commanding 12-1 victory against the Elliott County Lady Lions, led by Ella Lisenbee's six RBIs, including an inside-the-park grand slam.✨The scoring began with Lisenbee's single, and both Addison Jackson and Ella Farley contributed with inside-the-park home runs🥎. Jordyn Smith excelled on the mound, allowing just one run over six innings while striking out six. 💪With 12 hits and seven walks, the Lady Dragons showcased their offensive strength and will face the Eaton Eagles tomorrow. Go, Dragons! 🐉

Addison Jackson shined with 3 hits, including a home run! The team scored early with runs from Jordyn Smith, Jackson, Abby Fields, and Ally Kirby in the first inning. They sealed the victory with 4 more runs in the seventh, highlighted by Jackson’s homer and contributions from Raegan Goodman and Gracie Hensley.
Pitcher Jordyn Smith was stellar, allowing no runs and striking out 8. Harlan collected 14 hits, with Ella Lisenbee, Ava Nunez, Ella Farley, and Abby Fields collecting multiple hits and 5 stolen bases, showcasing their strong offense and solid defense.
