Just a reminder that Thursday, March 16th, from 3:15-5:00 pm, Harlan Middle School and Harlan High School will be hosting Parent-Teacher Conference. Report cards will be given out at this time.

The high school softball game at Rye Cove, VA has been cancelled for this evening.

📚📚Miss Elizabeth from Harlan Public Library came to talk to Ms. Cohelia’s 4th-grade rotation about Book Club. Our students are excited about reading!! Don’t forget Middle/High School Book Fair starts Monday, March 13th. Literacy Night will be Thursday, March 16th!

Students at HES participated in a nutrition lesson using My Plate to show students how important it is to eat a balanced diet and to choose healthy snacks. 🥕🥒 Thank you to our visitors from the 4-H Extension Office for teaching our students the importance of nutrition.

🌳🌳🌳Harlan Elementary Students, enrolled in Save the Children Program-literacy program, planted their own Truffula Seed! They were each given a Truffula Seed and planted it with care. Gave it clean water and fed it with fresh air! They could not believe what happened the following day! Their Truffula Tree grew!
